Four core cardiac diagnostic services

Each test provides a different view of heart structure, rhythm or blood-pressure behaviour. Your physician will determine which assessment is appropriate.

Echocardiogram (ECHO)

An echocardiogram uses ultrasound to capture moving images of your heart while it beats.

Electrocardiogram (ECG)

An ECG records the electrical activity of your heart and can help identify rhythm abnormalities.

Holter Monitors

A portable monitor records electrical cardiac activity for 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours or 14 days.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring

A portable blood-pressure unit records readings every 20–30 minutes over a continuous 24-hour period.
